Although JavaScript and VBscript are disabled in the Compatibility options, FrontPage will still preserve modifications that you have made in your source code.
-and- The compatibility boxes do not apply to any code that you have typed using any of the previously mentioned methods. The primary objective of the compatibility boxes is to prevent FrontPage from using the technology in the code that it writes. The compatibility boxes do not apply to the code that is manually inserted.
