SYMPTOMSThe FrontPage Personal Web Server is removed after you uninstall a previous version of FrontPage from a computer that has FrontPage 2000 and FrontPage versions 1.1, 97, or 98. CAUSEIn earlier versions of FrontPage, the FrontPage Personal Web server is a component of FrontPage. By removing the previous version of FrontPage, the uninstall program will also remove the FrontPage Personal Web Server. RESOLUTIONMethod 1: Reinstall the FrontPage Personal Web ServerTo reinstall the FrontPage Personal Web server and run the Detect and Repair feature of FrontPage, follow these steps:
Method 2: Make Sure the \Content Folder is PresentMake sure that the following folder is present on the hard drive:<x>:\FrontPage Webs\Contentwhere <x> is the drive letter of the hard disk you originally installed the FrontPage Personal Web server.
