SYMPTOMSWhen you specify a file without giving it an extension in the Options for Saving Results of Form dialog box, the file is created without an extension. This behavior is different than the behavior of most dialog boxes in Windows 95 and 98 that automatically add the extension to the file name. CAUSEFrontPage does not automatically assign a file extension to a file name when you select the file format. RESOLUTIONWhen you specify the name of this file, include the extension. Properties for a file name without an extension will display the file as an "Unknown file type." However, when the file is opened in FrontPage, it will open in the format specified in the File for Results dialog box.
