FrontPage automatically hides a folder if its name begins with the underscore character. By default, the Show documents in hidden directories check box is not selected.
RESOLUTIONTo view folders whose names begin with the underscore character in Folders view, you can display hidden folders. To do this, follow these steps:

Hidden folders are useful for files that do not need to be seen in FrontPage views; however, the folder's contents can be viewed by site visitors browsing the web. Another benefit of hidden folders is that they are excluded from the FrontPage search component if the search is being performed by the FrontPage Server Extensions (not Index Server).
