FP2000: Removing Hyperlink Property Also Removes Bookmark Property

SYMPTOMS

If you remove a hyperlink from a selection that is also a bookmark, the bookmark is also removed. In contrast, other properties--such as bold or italic formatting or font size--are retained when you remove the hyperlink.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, after removing the URL, recreate the bookmark. To do this, select the text and then click Bookmark on the Insert menu.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
