FP2000: Design Time Controls Do Not Preview Changes Made in Normal View

SYMPTOMS

When you work with design-time controls, when you click the Preview tab, you do not see the changes that you have made in the Normal view.

CAUSE

When you make changes to design-time controls, you must save the page before you preview the page.

Design-time controls must be saved to be previewed correctly.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, simply save the page before clicking the Preview tab.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
