SYMPTOMSWhen you create a hyperlink to a folder within a Web, the hyperlink is displayed as a broken link in Hyperlinks view and the Broken Hyperlinks Report. CAUSEThe link is considered broken because there is no default page (for example, Default.htm) in the folder to which you are linking. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, create a default page in the folder to which you are linking. MORE INFORMATIONThe hyperlink is not broken. When you view it in the browser, the link directs you to the folder specified. Additional query words: front page
