FP2000: Link to Folder Shown as Broken in Hyperlinks View and Report

SYMPTOMS

When you create a hyperlink to a folder within a Web, the hyperlink is displayed as a broken link in Hyperlinks view and the Broken Hyperlinks Report.


CAUSE

The link is considered broken because there is no default page (for example, Default.htm) in the folder to which you are linking.


RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, create a default page in the folder to which you are linking.


MORE INFORMATION

The hyperlink is not broken. When you view it in the browser, the link directs you to the folder specified.
