SYMPTOMSIn Microsoft FrontPage 2000, when you remove a DHTML effect applied to text, positional formatting applied to the text may also be removed. CAUSEThe DHTML effect information is added to the same tag (a <DIV> tag) that contains the positioning information. When you remove the DHTML effect, it removes the entire tag, not the portion of the tag that contains only the information about the DHTML effect. RESOLUTIONTo work around this behavior and remove the DHTML effect without removing the positional formatting information, on the Edit menu, click Undo Edit Properties. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. Additional query words: front page fp2000
