SYMPTOMS
After you convert a GIF image to a JPEG and save the page, the image does not appear when you preview it in your Web browser. The image may appear as a broken link, or may not appear at all. CAUSEIf you modify other properties of the image, such as the size, before you click OK to apply the changes to the object, the image is converted to JPEG format, but the file name stays a GIF. RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, use one of the following methods. Method 1: Click OK to Apply The Changes Before Switching ViewsClick OK before you switch views. To do this, follow these steps:
Method 2: Rename The Files That Were Converted to JPEG To Have the .JPG File ExtensionRename the files that were converted to JPEG to have the .JPG file extension. To do this, follow these steps:
