FP2000: Cannot Add Multiple Names to "Assigned To" List Using Comma or Semicolon Separator

ID: Q219816

The information in this article applies to:
  • Microsoft FrontPage 2000

SYMPTOMS

When you add names to the Assigned to list of a page, you cannot add multiple names with a comma or semicolon separator.

CAUSE

Some address book software separates names with a comma or semicolon; however, you can only add one name at a time to the Assigned to list.

Because there are scenarios in which a user wants to add a first name and a last name separated by punctuation (for example: Kelly, Peter), FrontPage does not use comma or semicolon separators.
