SYMPTOMSMicrosoft FrontPage 2000 does not allow ASP files to be parent nodes in a navigation structure. CAUSEWhen you work with Navigation view in Microsoft FrontPage 2000, you cannot add child pages to any ASP page that participates in a navigation structure. However, you can make ASP pages child pages of HTM files. RESOLUTIONTo work around this issue, temporarily rename your ASP files with a .htm file name extension, add them to the navigation structure, and then rename them so that they have a .asp file name extension again. To do so, follow these steps:
NOTE: If you need to make a change to the navigation structure, for instance, move one ASP page to a different parent node, you must follow these steps again. STATUS
