Renaming Folder with User Interface Removes Files from Project

SYMPTOMS

If you use the Microsoft FrontPage 2000 User Interface dialog box to rename a folder in a project you may notice the files within that folder are no longer included in that project. The files are not deleted from the hard drive, but the files are no longer part of the project.


RESOLUTION

A supported fix that corrects this problem is now available from Microsoft, but it has not been fully regression tested and should be applied only to systems experiencing this specific problem. If you are not severely affected by this specific problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next Product Name service pack that contains this fix.
