SUMMARYThis article describes what a channel is and how to subscribe to a channel. MORE INFORMATION
A channel is a method that gives users the ability to browse a page or group of pages
offline by subscribing to that page or group of pages. Unlike a full site subscription,
which allows a user to download every page within a subscribed site, a channel defines
a subset of pages which are monitored for updates and downloaded as needed on an established
schedule. The schedule can be established either in the Channel Definition File or in the
subscribing browser. A channel can also be configured to e-mail its subscribers when new
content is available on the channel.
