SYMPTOMSIf you are using the Auto Thumbnail feature, you will notice broken hyperlinks to the image file after you publish your Web. CAUSEWhen you insert an image from a location other than the current Web, make a thumbnail and save the page, the thumbnail has an absolute link to the source image. RESOLUTIONTo work around this behavior, use either of the following methods. Method 1: Import the Image into Your WebImport the images into your current Web, make the Auto Thumbnail image and save the page. To do this, open your Web in FrontPage Explorer and then follow these steps:
Method 2: Insert an Image from a Location Other than the Current WebIf you insert an image from a location other than your current Web, save the page before you make the Auto Thumbnail image. To do this, follow these steps:
