SYMPTOMSFont formatting that you applied to your table of contents appears in FrontPage Editor, but it does not appear in the preview with you open the page in a Web browser. CAUSEFrontPage does not write the font information for the table of contents to the page. The Table of Contents component uses only heading tags (such as H1, H2, or H3). FrontPage does not apply any other font or style formatting to the list. RESOLUTIONTo work around this behavior you can use cascading style sheets (CSS) to define the styles for the heading attributes. To do this, follow these steps:
