SYMPTOMS
If you set FrontPage Explorer to show documents in hidden directories and you are using shared borders in your Web, the shared border files (Top.htm, Left.htm, Right.htm, Bottom.htm) will appear as orphaned pages in All Files view in FrontPage Explorer.
CAUSEAn orphaned page or file is a document that does not have a traceable path back to the home page in your Web. FrontPage Explorer traces this path by following the hyperlink reference (HREF) of the anchor (<A>) tag in the HTML documents in your Web. However, the shared border files are inserted by using table (<TABLE>) tags rather than anchor tags. The files show up as orphans because FrontPage Explorer cannot trace a link to the <TABLE> tags. RESOLUTIONAlthough these files show as orphans, they will function correctly on the published Web.
