SYMPTOMSWhen submitting a form that is located in a shared border you may receive the following error message where <domain> is the domain name of the server, <subweb> is the name of the subweb that contains the page, and <pagename> is the name of the document you are viewing in the browser. CAUSEWhen the FrontPage Server Extensions process a form, they reference the Uniform Resource Locator (URL) of the document that is currently open in the browser. However, if a form is inserted in a shared border, the form is actually contained in the top.htm, bottom.htm, left.htm, or right.htm file (stored in the _borders folder of the FrontPage Web) rather than the currently open page. You receive the error because the FrontPage Server Extensions are looking at the wrong URL. RESOLUTIONMove the form out of the shared border file and place it in one of the pages. To do this, follow these steps:
