SYMPTOMSWhen you start the FrontPage Server Administrator, it may take a long time to start. CAUSE
The FrontPage Server Administrator may take a long time to start if any of
the following are true:
RESOLUTION
For servers with large amount of content and/or many virtual servers, use
the Command Line version of the FrontPage Server Administrator from the
command prompt.
MORE INFORMATION
The FrontPage Command Line Utility installs, updates, removes, and checks
the FrontPage Server Extensions on FrontPage root webs and sub-webs, and
performs other administrative FrontPage web operations. You can run
Fpsrvadm.exe even when the Web server is not currently running (although
the administration service for servers that uses one may need to be
running).
