The Web Publishing Wizard can transfer a single file while allowing the FrontPage Server Extensions to recognize any FrontPage components that are on that page.

To publish a single file to a FrontPage Extended Web server using the Web Publishing Wizard, follow these steps:

1. Install the Web Publishing Wizard (latest version) from the Internet Explorer 4.0 product update page at:

   http://www.microsoft.com/ie/ie40/download/rtw/x86/en/download/addonnt.htm




2. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Internet Explorer, and then click the Web Publishing Wizard.



3. Click Next.



4. Type the path to the file that you want to publish, or click Browse to find the file location.



5. Click New.



6. Type a Web server name or IP address, and then click Advance.



7. Select FrontPage Extended Web, and then click Next.



8. Type the URL or IP address to which you want to post the file and click Next.



9. Type the URL or IP address again and click Next.



10. Click LAN and click Next.



11. Click Finish.
