SUMMARYWhen you open FrontPage Webs on a Netscape server you are not challenged for a username or password. MORE INFORMATION
FrontPage relies on the security mechanisms of the Web server to which the
FrontPage Server Extensions are installed. When you author against
Netscape servers, FrontPage uses .nsconfig files. In order for FrontPage
to require a username and password for authoring, the Netscape server must
recognize the .nsconfig files. To do this, Dynamic Configuration files
must be enabled on the Netscape server. They should be enabled with the
file name .nsconfig, take the base directory from the URL, and descend
subdirectories.
