The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSWhen you publish content to a FrontPage extended Web running on Personal Web Server 4.0, the default document is not renamed, as it is on Internet Information Server (IIS) or another Web server. For example, on IIS, the default document is Index.htm and on Personal Web Server, it is set to use Default.htm. After publishing to the Personal Web Server, the file is still called Index.htm. WORKAROUND
To resolve this problem, use one of the following workarounds: -OR-Use Default.htm or Default.asp (the defaults for Personal Web Server) as the default documents on your production server (IIS or UNIX). -OR-Rename the file manually after publishing to Personal Web Server by doing the following:
