SUMMARYWhen you install the FrontFage98 Server Extensions, the Visual InterDev VINavbar Component folder is not created. MORE INFORMATION
In the Visual Studio 6.0 Enterprise Edition, you have the option to use a Visual InterDev VINavbar component other than the FrontPage navigation bar component that FrontPage98 Server Extensions installs. Q191278 INFO: Visual InterDev 6.0 READMEVI.HTM FileThese articles state that if the directory does not exist, reinstall the FrontPage Server Extensions from the installation compact disc by running FP98ext\setup.exe. After they are installed, recalculate hyperlinks. This information is also located at the following URL: http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/devprods/vs6/vinterdev/vidue/html/vicontroubleshooting.htmNote: The server extensions that are being referred to are not the FrontPage98 Server Extensions that are available on the download site. http://officeupdate.microsoft.com/frontpage/wpp/serk/The versions are both 3.0.2.1706, but the server extensions referred to are from the Visual Studio 6.0 Enterprise Edition. The extensions are located on the Visual Studio 6.0 Enterprise Edition on the second compact disc, which has a folder named Fp98ext. Run the Setup.exe to create the desired Bot folder and the VINavbar folder. To verify that the VINavbar component is installed, search for the VINavbar folder on your local computer. The VINavbar folder is installed by default in C:\Program Files\Microsoft FrontPage\version3.0\bots. If you cannot find the VINavbar folder on your local computer, and you want to use the VINavbar component, you must install the FrontPage 98 Server Extensions from the Visual Studio compact disc. See the Visual InterDev Readme file, Readmevi.htm, for installation instructions. Additional query words:
