SYMPTOMSWhen the French version of FrontPage is installed on a French version of Windows NT with the locale set to France, the checkbox used to require a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) connection is not displayed. WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, change the Control Panel Regional Settings from French (Standard) to any other French speaking country and check the "Set as system default locale" checkbox. After you restart the computer, you will be able to see the FrontPage SSL checkbox: "Connexion sécurisée ( SSL ) nécessaire" RESOLUTIONA supported fix that corrects this problem is now available from Microsoft, but
it has not been fully regression tested and should be applied only to systems
experiencing this specific problem. If you are not severely affected by this
specific problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next FrontPage 98
