SYMPTOMSWhen you publish to a disk-based Web, the default document is renamed Index.htm. Even if the default document is renamed in the disk-based Web, the next time you publish to it, the default document is again named Index.htm. CAUSEThe default document name for a disk-based Web is always Index.htm. This is by design, and cannot be changed. WORKAROUND
If you prefer to change the name, open the disk-based Web and rename the default document. This will need to be done each time you publish to the Web. Additional query words:
