FP1: Arrow Buttons on Toolbar Do Not Follow Links

SYMPTOMS

FrontPage Editor Help states that the forward pointing arrow button (>) can be used to follow a selected link forward. This information is incorrect.

The forward pointing arrow button steps the display forward to a previously visited page.


STATUS

This problem was corrected in FrontPage 97.


MORE INFORMATION

The < and > buttons are used to move forward and backward through visited pages.

To follow links forward, use these steps:

  1. Click the link. On the Tools menu, click Follow Links.


  2. Hold down the CTRL key and click the link.


  3. Right-click the link and click Follow Link Forward.
