To modify the HTML pages with an editor other than FrontPage Editor, use
the following steps:
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was corrected in Microsoft FrontPage 97 for Windows with Bonus Pack. MORE INFORMATIONFrontPage Editor is the only editor that has the ability to save a modified page directly to an active Web. When any other editor is used to modify a page, FrontPage Explorer inserts this page on the import list so that it can be incorporated into the current Web. If the page is not imported, the changes will not be recognized. Additional query words: front page
