SYMPTOMS
When you insert a graphic whose file name contains a slash (/) character,
FrontPage Editor creates an invalid link to the graphic. When you save the
page, the graphic is not saved to the Web. Thus, when you preview the page, the
image is missing.
CAUSEThe file name contains an invalid character. On the World Wide Web, a slash character designates separate folders (directories) in a Uniform Resource Locator (URL) path. This also affects file and folder names. RESOLUTIONReplace the invalid character in the file name with a valid character before you insert your graphic. MORE INFORMATIONA file name should not contain any of the following symbols:
