SYMPTOMS
If you close the SCC Status window, you cannot open the window again unless you perform a source code control operation.
RESOLUTION
To display the SCC Status window, on the Add-ins menu, point to VBA Source Code Control, and then click Refresh File Status.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed
at the beginning of this article.

Steps to Reproduce Behavior
- Start Microsoft Excel, and then press ALT+F11 to open the Visual Basic Editor.
- Save the project by clicking Save projectname on the File menu.
- On the Add-ins menu, point to VBA Source Code Control, and then click Add Project to Source Safe.
NOTE: If the VBA Source Code Control command is not on Add-ins menu, use the Add-in Manager to add it.
- Create a new folder for this project, name it SCCTest, and then click OK and Yes to create the new folder.
- Check in all objects by clicking OK in the Check Files Into Source Safe dialog box.
Note that the SCC Status window is displayed.
- Close the SCC Status window.
- To display the SCC Status window, on the Add-ins menu, point to VBA Source Code Control, and then click Refresh File Status.
