SYMPTOMSWhen you create a package for a Microsoft Access project (*.adp or *.ade) with the "Package and Deployment" Wizard, you may receive the following error message when you click Package on the first screen of the wizard: When you click OK, the wizard continues successfully to completion without additional related errors. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. MORE INFORMATIONThis error does not indicate any damage to the package or to your system. It has no effect on the operation of the "Package and Deployment" Wizard. You can continue to create and then distribute the package. Steps to Reproduce the BehaviorNOTE: To complete the following steps, you must have either the Microsoft Data Engine (MSDE) installed or a connection to SQL Server.
