MOD2000: Mouse Pointer Continuously Displayed as an Arrow in Internet Explorer When You Are Removing Publication While Offline

ID: Q245546

The information in this article applies to:
  • Microsoft Office 2000 Developer

SYMPTOMS

When you are working offline, if you remove a publication, the mouse pointer is continuously displayed as an arrow in Microsoft Internet Explorer. Even though the publication is being removed, the mouse pointer does not change to indicate activity. While the publication is being removed, you cannot click any Internet Explorer buttons.

RESOLUTION

Even though the mouse pointer does not change, the publication is being removed. Move the mouse periodically. Moving the mouse pointer over the Internet Explorer buttons can show when the buttons are active again, and when you can continue with regular activity.
