CAUSEIn Windows, it is acceptable to name files or folders using the number (#) sign. However, if you save HTML files inside folders that are named using the number sign or save Microsoft Office HTML files that contain the number sign in the file name, you may receive errors when you view these files in your Web browser. Web browsers interprete the number sign as a bookmark. RESOLUTIONAvoid saving HTML documents into folders that contain the number sign. Avoid naming HTML documents using the number sign.
