SYMPTOMSIn the Microsoft Office 2000 System Policy Editor, bidirectional (right-to-left) characters may not be displayed correctly. This may occur in customizable error messages, or other user-defined text fields. CAUSEThis problem occurs when all of the following conditions are true:
WORKAROUNDWhen typing text in the Office 2000 System Policy Editor, type your text in English or some other Western European language (Latin 1, Code Page 1252). STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. MORE INFORMATIONBidirectional text is not supported in the Microsoft Office 2000 System Policy Editor running on Microsoft Windows 95 or Microsoft Windows 98. This behavior does not occur when running the localized bidirectional version of Microsoft Office 2000, operating system, and System Policy Editor.
