SYMPTOMS

When you run Setup from the Microsoft Office 2000 compact disc 2, Microsoft Office 2000 Small Business Tools are not available for installation.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs when the following conditions are true:

• You are installing the U.S./English version of one of the Office products listed at the beginning of this article.



• You are attempting to install Office 2000 Small Business Tools on a computer that is running on a localized (non-English language) operating system.

Office 2000 Small Business Tools are a set of tools designed to enhance office functionality for the small business. These tools were designed specifically to work with the U.S./English version of Office running on English-language operating systems. Because Office 2000 Small Business Tools is supported only on English-language operating systems, the Setup program for this feature is disabled when you attempt to install to a localized operating system.
