SUMMARY
When you install any of the programs listed at the beginning of this
article on your Macintosh, a folder called MS Preference Panels is created
on the hard disk. Depending the program you install, the folder location
and contents may vary.

Note that if you install both Microsoft Office 98 Macintosh Edition and Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 on the same computer, the MS Preference Panels folder contains all of the preference panels used by both programs.
