  • Microsoft Excel 98 Macintosh Edition
  • Microsoft Word 98 Macintosh Edition
  • Microsoft PowerPoint 98 Macintosh Edition

SYMPTOMS

When you print a document that contains a Microsoft Graph object in any of the Microsoft Office 98 Macintosh Edition programs, the labels in the chart may be printed incorrectly.

When you print a Microsoft Word document or a Microsoft PowerPoint slide that contains a Microsoft Excel chart object, the labels in the chart may be printed incorrectly.

In both of these scenarios, the area of the chart that contains the labels are printed as white space, and the data labels may be unreadable.

CAUSE

This problem occurs if the labels in the chart object are rotated. This problem may occur with data labels, axis labels, and chart titles that have been rotated.

NOTE: Y-axis chart titles are rotated 90 degrees by default.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
