SHARING FILES WITH OTHER USERS Note that this CD-ROM contains both Macintosh and Windows versions of Microsoft Office Classroom Tools, and you can use the CD-ROM just to insert the viewers and converters if desired. For instance, you might do most of your work on a Macintosh, but wish to display it on a Windows 95 machine. In that case, you would install the Macintosh Classroom Tools & Activities on your Macintosh, and install just the Windows converters/viewers on your Windows 95 machine. Note that many converters and viewers are included that allow your colleagues who don't have Office 97 to view and/or import your Office 97 documents. The installations for all converters, viewers, and the Encarta Research Organizer are included separately on this CD-ROM in their respective subdirectories. They may be installed either through the main Microsoft Office Classroom Tools installation, or independently by starting them directly from the CD-ROM. You must have Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or later installed on your computer to use the HTML files for each of these activities. Internet Explorer 4.0 is available on the "Microsoft Classroom Training Tools" CD (the 2nd CD in the "Teaching and Learning with Microsoft" pack), on the Microsoft Office 98 product CD, and downloadable from the Internet at http://www.microsoft.com/ie/mac. The classroom activities are located in the Microsoft Office 98:Templates folder. These 10 lessons are designed to show how Office can be integrated into the curriculum. Each lesson includes an HTML file that can be used with Microsoft Internet Explorer, or your web browser, as well as one or more Office template. The templates are launched from within the HTML file.
