OFF98: Pictures Do Not Appear Correctly

• Microsoft Office 98 Macintosh Edition

SYMPTOMS

When you open a document in one of the Microsoft Office 98 Macintosh Edition programs, the pictures in the document do not appear correctly but instead contain missing or broken lines or details.

CAUSE

This problem occurs when the following conditions are true:

• You created the document in a Microsoft Office 97 program
  
  -and-



• The document contains Enhanced Metafile(EMF) pictures.

RESOLUTION

An updated Metafile Filter is available that will correct these problems. The Updated Metafile filter is available for download from the Microsoft Software Library:
