You can use Microsoft Graph to create custom graph formats that can be applied to new or existing graphs. This file can be copied and shared. You can use this feature to standardize the look of graphs created by many people. The following article explains how to create a user-defined autoformat.

When you create a custom autoformat, a file containing this format is created. The filename and location varies by version and platform.

In Graph 98 Macintosh Edition, the file is called Graph Chart User Gallery. It is created in the System:Preferences folder.

In Graph for Windows, the file is called GR5GALRY (this file has no extension). It is created in the Windows directory.

In Graph 5 for the Macintosh, the file is called Graph Chart Autoformats (5). It is created in the System:Preferences folder.

Once this file is created, it can be copied to the Windows directory or the Preferences folder on other computers.
