SYMPTOMSWhen you use the Remove All (uninstall) option in Setup to remove a Microsoft Office installation that was configured for Lotus Notes support, you may receive the following error message:
CAUSEThis error message occurs when you are running a shared installation of Lotus Notes and you have Read-Only access to the shared Notes directory. During uninstall, Setup attempts to remove four DLLs from the Notes directory. Because you do not have delete privileges, Setup cannot remove the files, and the error message is displayed. The four DLLs that setup attempts to remove are: _MSIMP32.DLLMost likely, you will receive a "Could not remove the file" error message for each of these DLLs. STATUS
These error messages can be safely ignored. Click Ignore in each Alert
dialog box. Setup continues with the uninstall and will remove Office from
your computer.
