SYMPTOMSIn a Binder, if you add a section from an existing file, the file is added to the Binder, but it may not become the active section. CAUSEYou may experience this problem if your Binder already contains a section when you add a section from an existing file. But, if you add a section from an existing file to an empty Binder, then the section is activated. RESOLUTIONThere is no workaround at this time. If you want the section you just added to your Binder to be activated, click the icon for the section in the left pane of the Binder window. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available. MORE INFORMATIONWhen you start Binder, a new, blank Binder is created for you. You can add documents, called sections, to this blank Binder by dragging existing documents into the left pane of the Binder window or by clicking either Add or Add From File on the Section menu. If you click Add From File, you can add one or more existing files to your Binder. But, only when you have an empty Binder will one of these files be activated when it becomes a section in the Binder. Additional query words: 7.00a 7.00b
