SYMPTOMSWhen you move your pointer over a button on the Toolbar, the ToolTip for the button may not be displayed. CAUSEThis behavior occurs when you press the ESC key and click a toolbar button or menu command. For example, you click the Font box on the Formatting toolbar, and then press ESC once. If you move the pointer over the various toolbar buttons, no ToolTips are displayed. This is because the toolbar or menu still has the focus. This behavior is different than earlier versions of Microsoft Office programs. RESOLUTIONPress ESC twice to reset the focus. This allows the ToolTips to appear.
