SUMMARY

In Microsoft Graph, the format you choose for numbers in the datasheet affects how tick marks are labeled on each axis.

To change the format of a cell, use the following steps:

  1. Select the cell or cells you want to format.

  2. On Format menu (the Datasheet menu for PowerPoint Graph 1.0), click Number.

  3. Select a format from the list or enter your own format.

  4. Click OK.

For example, to see dollar signs before the numbers along the vertical axis, choose a format that includes a dollar sign for the numbers in the datasheet.
