OL2000: Error Adding Item to Junk E-mail List

SYMPTOMS
When you add a mail message to the Junk E-mail list in Microsoft Outlook
2000, you receive the following error message:
The operation failed. An object could not be found.
CAUSE
The From field is blank.

The Junk E-mail feature of Outlook gives you the ability to filter out or
delete messages based on criteria that you specify.
If you receive a mail message with a blank From field, you will receive an
error when you try to add it to the Junk E-mail list.
NOTE: There is no way to filter messages that have a blank From field.
To enable the features of the Junk E-mail list, follow these steps:
- On the Tools menu, click Organize, and then click Junk E-mail.
NOTE: If Organize is not visible, move the pointer over the
chevrons at the bottom of the menu and then click Organize when it
becomes available.
- Set the options for handling Junk E-mail and click Turn On. You can
change the font color of the message or move the message to a different
folder.
To add a message to the Junk E-mail list, follow these steps:
- Click to open the message.
- On the Actions menu, point to Junk E-mail and click "Add to Junk
Senders list" or "Add to Adult Content Senders List."

- Right-click the message.
- Point to Junk E-mail and then click "Add to Junk Senders list" or
"Add to Adult Content Senders List."
