SUMMARY

This article describes how you can use Microsoft Outlook to view a monthly calendar with the weekend days displayed as large as the weekdays.

MORE INFORMATION

In the Outlook Calendar, when you choose Day/Week/Month as the current view, and then click Month, the weekend days may appear smaller (compressed) than the weekdays. In the Month view, Outlook provides an option to display the weekend days in a compressed or uncompressed format.

To uncompress the weekend days, follow these steps:

  1. On the View menu, point to Go To, and then click Calendar to open your active calendar.

  2. On the View menu, point to Current View, and click Day/Week/Month.

  3. On the View menu, click Month, to open the Month view.

NOTE: By default the weekend days are displayed in half the size of the weekdays.

  4. On the View menu, point to Current View, and click Customize Current View.

  5. In the View Summary dialog box, click Other Settings.

  6. Under Month, click to clear the "Compress weekend days" check box.

  7. Click OK, and then OK again.

Your calendar should now display the weekend days in the same size as the weekdays.
