SUMMARYThis article describes how you can use Microsoft Outlook to display your Contacts in different formats, such as "Last Name, First Name" (without the quotation marks). Although you can change the way individual contacts are displayed in the Outlook Address Book, you cannot change the display name uniformly for all contacts at once.To change the format that your Outlook Address Book uses to display an individual's name, follow these steps:
Corporate Workgroup (CW) NotesOn the Tools menu, click Address Book to open your Address Book. In the "Show Names from the" list, click to select your Outlook Address Book Contacts. You should see the contact that you modified listed as "Last Name, First Name" (without the quotation marks).Internet Mail Only (IMO) NotesOn the Tools menu, click Address Book to open your Address Book. You should see the contact that you modified listed as "Last Name, First Name" (without the quotation marks)Contact Name Entry and Filing OptionsOutlook 2000 contains new features that allow you to specify the default setting for how you enter contact names and also the default setting for how you want to file new contacts within your Contacts folder. Changing these settings affects all new contacts in your Contacts folder, but does not affect old contacts or the Outlook Address Book. Follow these steps to change the order your enter or display your contacts within your Contacts folder:
