NOTE: These procedures only apply if you have installed Outlook with the Corporate Workgroup/Other (CW) option. This option allows you to use Messaging Application Programming Interface (MAPI) services. To determine your installation type, on the Help Menu click About Microsoft Outlook. In About Microsoft Outlook you should see "Corporate" if you have the Corporate Workgroup installation. SYMPTOMSWhen starting Microsoft Outlook under Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, you may receive an access violation. CAUSEYou are using the Lotus cc:Mail transport rather than the "Microsoft Outlook Support for Lotus cc:Mail." Install the Current VIM FilesYou must have the latest 32-bit VIM (vendor-independent messaging) files. Microsoft does not provide these files. If you use Windows NT and have not previously installed a 32-bit version of Lotus cc:Mail, these files may not be present in your \WINNT\SYSTEM32 folder. They are available for download at:http://www.transend.comDownload the file Vdlw32.zip, which contains the necessary 32-bit VIM files. Unzip Vdlw32.zip and copy these files to your \WINNT\SYSTEM32 directory. Add the Microsoft Outlook Support for Lotus cc:Mail to Your Profile
