SYMPTOMSWhen restarting your computer after installing Microsoft Outlook 2000, you may get the following error message:
CAUSEThe computer is trying to start the Microsoft Exchange Client (Windows Messaging System). You may have chosen the option to place the Inbox in your Startup folder when installing this program. Or, you installed the program from the WMS.exe file on your Microsoft Windows 98 CD after installing Outlook. RESOLUTION
If you placed the shortcut to Exchng32.exe (Inbox) in your Startup folder,
remove it and restart your computer.
MORE INFORMATIONThe Startup folder is at the following location: C:\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\StartupIf you want, you can replace the Inbox shortcut with a shortcut to Outlook. This will start Outlook automatically each time you start your computer. To reinstall Outlook:
