SUMMARYThis article provides information on converting files from Microsoft Schedule+ versions 1.0 and 7.0, to Outlook. MORE INFORMATIONSchedule+ Program RequiredCertain Schedule+ support files must be installed on your computer before the Schedule+ converters will work. These files are installed by Outlook if you choose to install the Import and Export files during Outlook Setup.Converters are supplied for two different versions of Schedule+, version 1.0 (.cal files) and version 7.0 (.scd files), and also for Schedule+ Interchange files (.sc2 files). It is important that you choose the proper converter for the type of file being converted. To Import a Schedule+ FileTo import a Schedule+ file, follow these steps:
Time ZonesSingle appointments imported from a file with a different time zone will be adjusted for the time zone change. An appointment scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Pacific Time will show up as 3:00 P.M. when it is imported into a file that uses Central Time.Recurring appointments, imported from a file with a different time zone, will NOT be adjusted for the time zone change. A recurring appointment scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Pacific Time will show up as 1:00 P.M. when it is imported into a file that uses Central Time. Schedule+ ProjectsProject fields are mapped to Outlook Categories for Tasks. While these categories are assigned to the individual Outlook tasks, they do not update the Master Category list in Outlook.REFERENCES
