NOTE: These procedures only apply if you have installed Outlook with the Internet Mail Only option. To determine your installation type, on the Help menu click About Microsoft Outlook. In About Microsoft Outlook you should see "Internet Mail Only" if you have the Internet Mail Only option installed. SYMPTOMSWhen creating an Auto Signature with the Signature Picker, the Font and Paragraph buttons are not available. CAUSEThe default Message format is set to Plain Text. The Internet Mail Only version of Outlook has the message format set to Plain Text by default. Since Plain Text does not include character formatting these options are disabled in the Signature Picker tool. To send a message with a formatted signature you need to change the default message format. To change the message format use the following steps:
