SYMPTOMSWhen you attempt to print to a Hewlett Packard (HP) LaserJet 6L printer using the Card style you may receive the following error message:
CAUSEThis problem has been reported to occur when your printer port is not correctly configured and you attempt to print using the Card print style. RESOLUTION
Make sure your printer is properly installed. To test your printer you can use the Properties dialog box of your printer to print a test page. Once you have established that the printer works properly from other programs, print from Outlook using any print style except the Card style and then try printing using the Card style again. If you attempt to immediately print using the Card style the problem may recur. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
